YOU feed Them!

“They don’t need to go away,” Jesus told them. “You give them something to eat.” Matthew 14:16 (CSB)
When Jesus spoke, large crowds followed Him. Once, as Jesus finished speaking, the disciples wanted to send the people home. It was getting late and the people needed to go to nearby villages for food and lodging. When the disciples expressed their concerns about the large crowd being hungry, Jesus gave them an immediate solution— “You feed them.” The disciples responded like we probably would, “With what?” Mark 6:37 (NLT)
A great question to ask ourselves is this: How will we respond when God gives us a task that seems impossible? We must remember, things that seem impossible are an opportunity to see God move. His resources are never lacking, and His power is immeasurable. It doesn't matter what we have, or what we might see as limitations, He is the God of abundance and multiplication. Those disciples only saw "little", but little became much when God got involved! Our human mind sees the ordinary, but God loves to use ordinary things (and people) to do His extraordinary!
God loves to include His people in His miracles. When a little child offered Jesus his lunch, He used it to feed 5,000 hungry people! If we offer nothing, we may see nothing... God takes the little we have, multiplies it, then uses it (and us) to expand His kingdom. God often does His biggest miracles when everything seems impossible. What’s in our hands? Technology. What’s within our reach? The entire world. What's our target audience? The lost.
We have enough at our disposal to feed people all around the world. We do it by partnering with Christian organizations that can meet them "right where they are." Remember, God never asks us to do something we can’t handle, and He promises to multiply what little we offer. Take the first step by making yourself available to Him. Ask Him to show you how to help advance His Kingdom by helping feed His lost sheep.
Key points:
• Recognize the need.
• Offer what you have.
• Pray, and thank God for what He is about to do.
• Trust in God’s provision.
• Partner with a Christian organization.
