We’ve all faced moments of deep pain, times when life didn’t go as planned, when we felt broken, when hope seemed distant. Jesus understands that pain because He walked through it Himself. Betrayed, beaten, and crucified, He endured unimaginable suffering. But His story didn’t end there—and neither does yours.

Easter is a reminder that even in the darkest moments, God is at work. What seemed like defeat on Friday became victory on Sunday. Jesus’s resurrection proves that pain is never the final chapter. There is power beyond our struggles, purpose beyond our suffering, and hope that never fades.

No matter what you’ve been through, His victory is for you. The same power that raised Jesus from the dead can bring healing, restoration, and new beginnings to your life.

This Easter at Calvary, you're invited to come and experience the hope, love, and transformation found in Jesus. Whether you regularly attend Calvary or have never been here before, you are welcome here. So, bring along your friends and neighbors to join you on Easter Weekend for an encouraging message of hope and songs to uplift your spirit as we celebrate the resurrection of Jesus.

FAQs

Calvary Chapel is all about loving God and loving people. Our goal is to offer a simple way for people to experience the life-changing power of Jesus. We believe that coming to church can be the highlight of the week for the entire family as long as we focus everything on Jesus, connecting with the community, and learning straight from the Bible.

We recommend coming 30 minutes before service typically starts to find some good parking, check your kids in for their Calvary Kids experience, and beat the crowd to get some good seats.

We've got the coffee covered! We serve free coffee to get you ready for an amazing service.

At Calvary Chapel, we love kids! For this special weekend, we have Kids' Ministry for ages 5 and under at all Easter Sunday services. Just head to our Kids' Check-in desk in the Commons or in the Kids' Building to safely check your child into our Kids' Ministry. Kids' Ministry is unavailable for our Saturday services. We invite all older kids to grab a Kids' pack from one of our Guest Services team members and join their families in the main service.

Calvary Chapel is full of life, creativity, love, and encouragement for the entire family. There is a live band that will lead in worship, and a Jesus-centered message taught by one of our pastors. The Good Friday service will last approximately 1 hr and the Palm Sunday, Passover and Easter Services will last approximately 1 hour and 15 minutes.

You don't have to worry if you can't join us in person. All of our Wednesday and Weekend services, including our Good Friday 12pm service, will be streamed for your enjoyment at calvaryCCM.com/live. The Palm Sunday and Easter Sunday 9am services will additionally be streamed on YouTube.

Calvary Chapel is for everyone, and we want everyone to feel welcome. So come as you are and dress in whatever feels most comfortable while being respectful to those around you. For Easter services, we encourage you to dress in your springtime best to take advantage of our family photo op.

Good Friday Services

Friday, April 18 | 12 & 7PM

Pain, sorrow, and suffering are things we all experience. Moments when we feel abandoned, broken, or overwhelmed by the weight of life. Jesus understands that pain because He bore it Himself. On the cross, He took on our sins, our shame, and our struggles, willingly enduring the punishment we deserved. But His story didn’t end there—and neither does yours.

Good Friday is a time to pause and remember the sacrifice Jesus made for us. The cross was not a tragic ending but a powerful act of love, one that would change everything. Through His suffering, He made a way for redemption. Through His death, He opened the door to new life.

Join us on Friday, April 18 as we reflect on the depths of Jesus' love and the goodness of God demonstrated through Jesus' death on the cross. It’s a night of reverence, gratitude, and hope because even in the darkest moment, God was working for our salvation.

Good Friday services will be at 12pm in the Sanctuary and 7pm at West Melbourne Community Park. If joining us at the park, be sure to bring a chair or blanket to sit on. If it should be raining, the service will be held in the Sanctuary. Kids' Ministry will not be available.
