Evidence Clearly Seen

For ever since the world was created, people have seen the earth and sky. Through everything God made, they can clearly see his invisible qualities—his eternal power and divine nature. So they have no excuse for not knowing God. Romans 1:20 (NLT)
I like to create murals on our walls. First, I gather my drop cloths, paint, brushes, trim tape. I must collect and use pre-existing materials to transform my wall into something new. But God did not make the heavens and the earth. In other words, He didn't use pre-existing materials, He created the heavens and the earth. In Hebrew, the word for create is Bara', and it means to make something out of nothing. One of God's invisible qualities we see in creation is His role as intelligent designer. God designed and created our world by just speaking it into existence; When God said, "Let there be"... there was! (Genesis 1). God was, is, and will be our masterful Creator. Only God can take nothing and turn it into (create) something.
Another one of God's invisible attributes is His eternal nature. The Trinity of God (Father, Son, and Holy Spirit) existed before creation, and all three of them were present and participating. Even better, all three are still present and active in our lives today. Unlike us, God has an all-sufficient nature. He didn't need anyone's help or assistance to create the heavens, the earth, or us. God is all powerful, and He is greater than EVERYTHING in His creation.
Indeed, My hand has laid the foundation of the earth, And My right hand has stretched out the heavens; When I call to them, They stand up together. Isaiah 48:13 (NKJV)
Our opening verse says everyone can see God's invisible qualities in creation. He is our Creator, our Sustainer, and He is eternal and everlasting. So we are all aware of Him, without an excuse. Where is God? Open your eyes! Look towards the heavens and view the sun, moon, and stars. Then gaze upon His beautiful landscapes, the mountains, oceans and vistas He created. Nothing was created by accident, it was His perfect, intelligent design. Through creation, we can clearly see God's divine nature.
It's sad, but anyone who fails to believe in Him has no excuse.
