Beauty Beyond Words

“In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth.” Genesis 1:1

Only a handful of people have been blessed to view the earth from space. Imagine the awe they felt as they witnessed such beauty spread out before them. But it isn't just outer space! All of God’s creation speaks, and it proclaims His glory from every viewpoint. For Christ followers, creation is a visible reminder of God's great Love.

A worship song called “The Love of God" is one of my favorite songs. When I hear it, it's lyrics remind me how much God's loves me. It also reminds me that like creation, God's love is almost unimaginable! "It’s so good I almost can’t believe it. Far beyond what hearts could ever dream. The God who set the galaxies in motion, would descend to give His life for me.”

God’s creation is a physical manifestation of His enduring love—a love so profound, it's beyond our human comprehension. Nature is certainly awe-inspiring; but the sunsets, stars, seas and the diversity of animals all testify to their Creator. God's care for creation extends to its minutest detail, yet how much grander is His providential love for His children?

Scripture declares we are a beautiful work of The Lord. For we are God’s masterpiece. He has created us anew in Christ Jesus, so we can do the good things he planned for us long ago. Ephesians 2:10 (NLT)

Take time to observe God's glorious creation around you, then let it inspire a greater reverence for God in you. But remember, if you love His Son Jesus, He sees you as more beautiful than anything else He created!
