Our Calvary family is growing, and we have a special opportunity to reach more families with the gospel by launching Kids' Ministry on Saturday nights! Expanding the availability of Kids’ Ministry will provide a way for families, especially those who work Sundays, to worship and grow in faith together.

By serving on Saturday nights, you’ll play a crucial role in welcoming these families, sharing God’s love with the next generation, and making it possible for more people to connect with the body of Christ.

  • Ensure safety and follow our Calvary Kids' protocols.
  • Compassionate, team-oriented, patient, and enthusiastic about working with kids.

By providing a safe, loving, and fun environment, you’ll help kids encounter God’s love in a real way. Your impact extends beyond just one service—it's a lasting investment in our church’s future and the spiritual growth of our community.

FAQs

No experience is necessary. Training and guidance are provided to support you every step of the way. We have an orientation meeting that goes over the safety, check-in and check-out procedures, and any other questions you may have.
We ask that you arrive 30 minutes before service for prayer over the service, kids, and families during the weeks you serve. After service, you'll generally stay 20-30 minutes to ensure all kids are checked out and the classroom is clean. We ask that you commit to serving the even or odd months of the year so that the kids get to know their leaders.
FOREVER!!!! Just kidding :) You are welcome to serve for as long as you feel God calling you to serve in Kids' Ministry. We are also always open to you taking breaks when needed so you can recharge.
No worries. We understand life can be unpredictable, and we're all about you going on vacation. If you're unavailable to serve during your normally scheduled service, just let one of our Calvary Kids' leaders know so they can arrange a replacement.
While teaching is one role within the classroom, we offer many different roles to serve with Kids' Ministry. You can serve on the welcome team, service ready team, group assistant, and of course group leader.
